Although a cleric should be stalwart in defence of righteousness, sometimes a
foe is best combated by those for whom physical combat is more their
speciality. Thus it is not uncommon to see Clerics in parties with Warriors,
Monks, and others better able to stand toe to toe with their enemies. The
Celestial Chant was developed to allow the Cleric to pray to Brangwen for aid
for those who lend their arm to the cause. When it is cast, any and all members
of the Clerics party, who are present, and of Neutral or better alignment, are
filled with Brangwen's own vigour. They find themselves able to make extra
attacks for that round! For the most powerful of priests, and goodly of
recipients, the bonus attacks can tip the balance of battle greatly.
