This technique is one beloved of high level Necromancers, as the panic it
causes - the delightful realisation of death in its pitiful victims - is sweet
nectar. The Necromancer forsakes use of her weapons or rituals and instead
strides forward and grasps her victim around the tender throat with both
cadaverous hands. Try as he might, the victim will not be able to break free
and will take choking damage each and every round thereafter. Only the death of
the Necromancer, or her decision to release him will prevent a certain,
agonising and prolonged death.

Of course, while in this state, the Necromancer is extremely vulnerable. The
victim can continue to attack, and while his attacks will be weak, he can be
virtually guaranteed of hitting. Likewise should any friends of the victim join
the melee, the Necromancer will be extremely vulnerable. Thus this technique is
best used on lone victims, late at night and miles from any help.
