Exorcism spells sure doom for the semi-material Undead, such as Ghosts,
Wraiths, Spectres and the like. As such creatures have no physical form, and
are instead maintained solely by their intense evil, this miracle allows you to
strike at them directly, without having to blast away the intervening flesh
behind which other Undead hide. The effect is variable, but will normally be
much more damaging than a dispell, and will also stun and weaken the creature,
as its link to the Negative Material and Outer Planes is assaulted. Such
creatures often take reduced damage from normal weapons due to this link, and
so victims of this miracle will thereafter be more vulnerable to such attacks.

Since it is the Outer Planes that the souls of dead, evil players travel upon
their demise, this miracle rather interestingly affects their ghosts! An evil
players ghost which is exorcised will suffer intense agony, be unable to move
for some time and find itself weakend for a considerable time once they return
to life.
