In the course of a Necromancer's career, she will doubtless meet many deluded
fools who, rather than offering up their beating hearts for sacrifice, instead
attempt to end her reign of terror. Normally such maggots may be brushed aside
with contempt, but every now and again some do-gooder will prove to be too
strong, and the wise will look to retreat to fight another day. Every
Necromancer looks forward with glee to their own death, but at a time of their
own choosing, not enforced upon them by some worm.

When escape is unlikely and her life is swiftly fading, another option is
available - Feign Death. Using this swift ritual the Necromancer will collapse
to the ground, seemingly slain. Their own weapon will have caused the seemingly
fatal wound, but with their skill with a blade this will be but superficial. As
her 'corpse' strikes the ground, the final part of the ritual will trigger,
creating an illusion of her body, while actually making her invisible. This
invisibility will last only seconds, but will allow enough time to make her
escape! When the ritual expires and the 'corpse' vanishes like morning dew, she
should be some distance away, for the ritual will leave her extremely weak!

This ritual may only be performed if you are carrying a bladed weapon.
