One little trick that seems that only Rangers have<br /> mastered is the feint. The Ranger makes an obvious attack to one side of an<br /> opponent, and then as the target moves to parry it, they slide the blade in<br /> their hand, bringing the blow to strike somewhere completely different. The<br /> effect of this is to catch their opponent or opponents offguard, allowing for a<br /> number of quick attacks before they are able to recover. Obviously, the<br /> effectiveness of this ability depends greatly on your ability to make good<br /> these extra attacks.
