This ritual is insidious, and the effects often not noticed at once by the<br />
hapless victim. The target will find themselves highly agitated and fearful,<br />
with their heart racing in their chest. The victim will, however, have no<br />
adverse side effects until they try to flee combat in a panic. At this point,<br />
when they are 'wimpying', the strain on their weakened heart will become<br />
unbearable and they will suffer a minor coronary. Their heart will skip a beat<br />
and then stop for several seconds, causing them to collapse to the ground after<br />
staggering from the room. In addition to this debilitating effect, the victim<br />
will also take terrible damage from the strain placed upon their system.<br />
<br />
The victim is not free until the ritual wears off of its own accord - it does<br />
not matter how often the target wimpies during this time.<br />
<br />
The ritual will only work due to legitimate terror during combat. It has been<br />
noted that a victim who has been magically induced to flee (eg via 'fear'),<br />
will not be affected.<br />
