Sometimes our hapless victims will try to flee from the joyful liberation of
their souls from their bodies that Necromancers bring. It is useful, therefore,
to be able to inflict pain on even those who have fled from us. It is then a
simple matter to follow them and retrieve what we want from their laughable
corpses later. Word of Pain is our first means to do this, but Decaying Leech
is even better.

Unlike Word of Pain, this ritual infects the target with a rotting disease.
While it is only short term it is horrifically virulent during that time. The
disease causes the targets flesh to start rotting on the bone, causing awful
wounds. At the same time their stamina and magic points are drained due to the
ravages of the disease on their body. As a final bonus a spirit link is set up
between caster and target, and the caster is actually healed by the targets
suffering.

It should be noted that this spell can be cast alongside Word of Pain.
