The Prismatic Spray is an extremely valuable spell to a Warmage, but it is a<br />
little uncontrolled, with beams flying in all directions and striking random<br />
targets. By the time a Warmage learns Prismatic Lance, she has had time to<br />
refine the incantations to produce a much more focused, and thus lethal,<br />
weapon.<br />

Prismatic Lance is in essence the same as its smaller cousin, but channelled<br />
into a single beam of scintillating colours. This beam does far more damage<br />
than Prismatic Spray, but also strikes a single pitiful target. Its<br />
debilitating effects are also more carefully focused, weakening the target<br />
against elemental attacks while dispensing with some of the less core effects.<br />
<br />
It is technically possible to affect a target with both Prismatic attacks at<br />
once, but it should be noted that the debuffs shared by each do not stack.<br />
