'''Syntax: Pshroud <target>'''

'''Shroud of Pain'''<br>
The curse known as the Shroud of Pain allows the Necromancer to cause untold
suffering to the hapless fool targetted. A minor undead spirit is bound to the
casters will and directed to 'settle' over the victim. While the spirit has no
physical presence par se it is able to tap into the victims life force, feeding
upon it to maintain itself. The target will thus be fine one minute and then
wrought with unspeakable agony the next. They will recover almost at once, but
the spirit will continue to feed upon their essence thereafter, and only the
meddling of a Priest of one of the sickeningly 'good' Gods can banish the
spirit back whence it came. Monsters do seem to recover of their own accord,
but for players the effect will be permanent until cured....

Cost: 15mp<br>
Cast Time: 1.50 seconds
