using their skills, they are able to take the corpse of a monster, skin it, tan
it, and shape it into either a cloak, quiver, armour or pet armour.

The actual tanning process uses magical as well as physical skills (tanning
normally takes weeks), and via this magic, the item is also strengthened far
beyond the normal levels, although as a side effect, it can only be worn by the
Ranger who made it.
