Across the infinite heavens an array of stars shine down on the world; and to
those who truly know how to harnass Nature, they can draw on their power. Star
Beam draws on the latent power of starlight and causes it to flow as flickering
motes from the Druid to her foe. The motes strike the target causing damage and
then sink into the targets skin and continue to cause burns. This effect does
not stack, so casting Star Beam a second time while the motes are active will
only do the initial damage.

The latent power of Starlight suffuses everything, empowering the Druid even
when the sun has risen again. The power is within her, so this spell may be
cast even when indoors or during the day. It is noted though that outdoors at
night the motes burn faster, so the target takes damage more quickly, albeit
the same overall from a single cast.
