Ranger Fishing Rod
As a class the rangers are very self sufficient, delighting in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing which reduce their reliance on others even further. One of the earliest opportunities a novice ranger gains to demonstrate their fierce sense of independence is the ability to fashion a crude fishing rod. While any rod fashioned in this way will by necessity be less fancy, with a smaller reach, than those made by distant Gnomish artisans it allows the ranger to catch a fresh fish supper when the need arises.
