Syntax: Fit <target>

Cadaver Fit
Even fledgling Necromancers spend enough time around dead and decaying corpses that by the time they begin their adventuring careers they have already developed a resistance to most of the virulent diseases carried by cadavers. Other adventurers have no such luck and are thus open to the ravages of this ritual. The Necromancer performing the ritual brings into being a small sample of the virus 'Morbus Fervidus' (known as the Foaming Sickness in most of Drakenwood) and magically infects the target.

The sickness lies dormant, causing little worse than a dull headache until the victim engages in combat. At this point the adrenalin rush brings the virus out of its dormancy and it quickly starts to affect the victim. The infected creature will fight as normal, but every so often will suffer a debilitating fit. They will collapse to the ground, twitching and with froth bubbling from their lips as their feet thrash about. They will recover quickly, but so long as they stay in combat they will continue to fit. Only once they retreat from combat altogether will the virus return to its dormant state. The effect will not last long - the magical infection process seems to weaken the virus itself causing a virulent, rather than prolonged, illness.

It would appear that the victim will create antibodies when infected, as the target will then become immune to the virus for about 24 hours.
