Syntax: Preserve <object>

Preservation
The preserve spell allows a Cleric to call upon Auria to slow the rate of decay of a corpse or severed limb, possibly allowing it time to be raised from the dead, regenerated at the hospital or whatever, where normally it would have decayed to dust. Although a complex spell to learn, once mastered it is relatively cheap to cast, and carries virtually no risk of failure. The actual slowing ranges from half speed for low level clerics, but can rise to fully a quarter for the more powerful ones.
