Syntax: Ward <object> against <type>

Glyph of Warding
With the Glyph of Warding, you can protect an item against those who would interfere with it, by tracing a glyph, holy to Caitlin, on the item required. This is especially useful in areas where Rogues roam free, preying upon the unwary. When cast the miracle protects a single <object> against a named <type> of interference. The types are:

Theft: Protects the object from being stolen or slashed.
Opening: Protects the object from being opened.

A Rogue who tries to steal an item warded against theft will fail, no matter how good they are. In addition higher level clerics might find their warded items able to stun or inflict damage upon would be thieves!

Anyone who tries to open a chest or bag warded against opening will have a hard time, for the magic actually keeps the top held down! Only the very strong could stand a chance, and should they succeed, the ward will be voided. Also, should the object (and this includes doors), be locked, any Rogue attempting to pick the lock will find the magic makes his or her life a LOT more difficult, and even if he or she SHOULD manage it, they must still overcome the ward should they wish to OPEN it!
