Countering
Monks often find interesting and powerful ways to utilize their abilities in combination. Often, simply biding their time while blocking the attacks of their foes will present opportunities for counter attack. This ability does not actually damage a foe in any way. Instead, it is the precursor to a rebuttal, where a monk can instantly drop their blocking and perform another ability that is greatly amplified in power.
