Creatures far more powerful than Mortals exist in the Western Realms. Beings of such awesome power that they are rightly given the name Gods, and are worshipped by mortals.

While Clerics and Necromancers may derive significant benefits from close devotion to a Deity, other players may also choose to revere a specific God and may at times receive some minor benediction too. To pick a God, you dedicate yourself. You may then pray to that God.

There are 4 Good, 4 Evil and 5 Neutral Gods, each with a specific sphere of influence:

Brangwen, Goddess of Battle, Courage and War
Caitlin, Goddess of Protection and Endurance

Neutral Gods
Brigit, Goddess of Fire, Poetry and Passion
Mawn, God of Knowledge, Wisdom and Learning
Karak, God of Crafting, Smiths and the Earth
Rhiannon, Goddess of Fate, Luck and the Sea
Tieryn, God of Time, Air and the Heavens

Evil Gods
Nephastus, God of Death, Pestilence and the Grave
Sethis, Goddess of Mischief, Strife and Deceit
Sorban, God of Butchery, Ruthlessness and Carnage
Tyaa, Goddess of Terror, Pain and Torture
