Syntax: Skewer <target>

Skewering Arrow
A high level Ranger is absolutely deadly with a bow, and this skill is one of the reasons why. The Ranger draws his or her bow, and calls into existance a magical, silvery arrow, which flies with devastating accuracy and power to strike the named target, or the Rangers current attacker if no target is named. The arrow is purely magical, and thus able to pass through armour without losing any of its potency, and can even pass through multiple targets, should they be standing behind each other (eg in a party).

While the effect is extremely severe indoors, when under an open sky, the effect is many times worse, depending on the weather conditions:

Cloudy Weather: The arrow is made from a stroke of lightning and thus deals electrical damage, as well as stunning targets for a round.

Clear during Day: The arrow is a sunbeam, doing fire damage, as well as doing extra damage against creatures of demonic or undead origin.

Clear during Night: The arrow is a moonbeam, doing pure energy damage, and paralyzing the target for several seconds.
