Starch
Starch is applied per-piece of clothy armour.
Starched items can only be worn by a Monk.
There are some forms of starch that can be purchased that apply towards more than just improved armour. Some also provide resistances based on metal or other exotic materials infused into the starch mixture.
A list of purchasable starches can be found below.
Note that the more specialized the starch, the more powerful the resistance,
and vice-versa where the less specialized, the less powerful the resistance.
Starch Packet -- A basic armour supplement.
Solution of Silver -- Silver and dagger/arrow resistance.
Solution of Iron -- Iron and dagger/arrow resistance.
Solution of Copper -- Energy/electric and dagger/arrow resistance.
Solution of Bronze -- Bronze and dagger/arrow resistance.
Solution of Nether -- Magic resistance.
Solution of Devilry -- Holy resistance.
Solution of Holy Water -- Unholy resistance.
Flame Gel -- Cold resistance.
Frost Gel -- Fire resistance.
Solution of Pachyderium -- Resistance to all.
