Battering Strike
Most fighters learn the 'bash' skill early in their careers. With enough strength and skill, a good fighter can batter their opponent, catching them off-guard and delivering several brutal strikes in quick succession with the shield. The 'batter' skill is thus a significant improvement over 'bash'.
