Mirror Image
Long ago, the mighty warmage Womble mastered the art of creating magical valets to tidy his lab. It was not long, however, before he realised that, by making them in his image and setting them against an opponent in combat, the confusion caused allowed him extra time to work his magic before the REAL him could be discovered.

Thus we have the Mirror Image spell. It creates a number of duplicate images of the caster which move and fight as if they were the real thing. These images are purely illusionary though and so inflict no damage in combat, nor can they be killed. However for as long as they are up, opponents struggle to tell which is the 'real' caster, and so their chance of successfully striking him is reduced.

The effect is pronounced, but short lived and can only be cast every 2 minutes.
